Some good pictures from my world
Thailand Pictures
Bangkok
Skyline
This is the morning skyline during my trip to Bangkok. An older city with just an immense individual character.
The most challenging part of this town is getting around, since it truly has the worst traffic I have ever seen
Bangkok Grand Palace
The Grand Palace in Bangkok is a substantial complex of buildings. It served as the official home of the Kings of Thailand from the 18th century onwards.
Bangkok Little Schoolhouse
This is the actual schoolhouse that was depicted in the King and I. It resides on the grounds of the Grand Palace.
Along The River
I had some extra time one day and ended up taking a boat ride "up the river" into the jungles of Thailand. Definitely worth the time and marginal cost, it is an amazing sight to anyone from our world. The key observation is that the river is the only way in or out for folks that live along its banks

The River Dock
A stop along the way, these docks appear out of nowhere. This particular stop was for a snake zoo of sorts. Lots-O-Snakes here for your personal and VERY up close viewing

At The River Junction
As you travel along the river you sometimes come to junctions where different tributaries converge. At most of those locations there are little "towns", collections of buildings that look like the jungle version of Old West towns in the US. The people are amazingly friendly.
