Alyssum in the Stone 

We planted Yellow Alyssum in a stone wall in the front of our house.  I expected it would just cascade doewn the wall, but it actually grows down and exits through the various cracks and joints in the stone.  Whatever the method, it looks great for about 3 week each spring.  This perennial self seed quite well, but don't try to grow it from seed.  It is very difficult and the success rate is very low.

 Kwanza Cherry Blossoms

Kwanza Cherry Trees are one of the most beautiful display specimens you can have on your property.  This is a set of blossoms in 2009 - an especially good year for flowers.  We planted about a dozen of these trees around the house
